  • Dr. West is accustomed to providing care for children aged birth to 25.

  • At present time, the confines of insurance reimbursement policies do not allow for the type of personalized medical care that Precise Pediatrics desires to provide. As such, we do not file insurance claims on your behalf, however, we will provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement as an out-of-network provider.

    We have had patients report success utilizing this processes, however, please note that reimbursement rates vary among insurance companies and even further between individual plans. Please check with your insurance provider and individual policy for reimbursement rates specific to your plan.

  • While Dr. West is indeed a pediatrician, she will not be considered your child's primary pediatrician in that she does not primary care services like well child check ups and vaccinations or provide acute visits for illnesses. Nevertheless, she will collaborate closely with your child's main healthcare provider, as well as any counselor or therapist involved in your child’s care in order to achieve optimal outcomes.

    If your child is in need of emergent or urgent medical attention, you should contact their primary care provider or seek emergency services by calling 911 or visiting the nearest hospital or emergency department.

  • Yes. If your insurance policy requires prior authorization for any medications, our staff will work with you, your insurance company and your pharmacy to submit any required forms and documentation.
