Foundational Care Membership

Pediatric care that knows your child

Everyday care with more time, direct access, and an integrative approach, from the newborn days through the teen years.

Care built around your family, not insurance

Direct primary care is a simple idea: instead of billing insurance for every visit, families pay one monthly membership fee. That takes the insurance company out of the exam room and gives us what traditional offices rarely have, which is time.

Time to answer all your questions.
Time to look at the whole picture.
Time to get to know your child.

Whole-child care, every day

Our integrative approach doesn't replace conventional pediatrics. It adds to it. Alongside the checkups, screenings, and treatments you'd expect, we look at the things that shape your child's health every day: what they eat, how they sleep, how their gut is working, and what's in their environment.

That might mean talking through picky eating at a well visit, looking for the reason behind recurring ear infections, or finding gentle ways to support your child's immune system. When medication is the right answer, we use it. When there's a simpler place to start, we'll talk about that too.

We believe parents and pediatricians make the best decisions together

Vaccines are an important part of preventive care, and we're happy to talk through the recommended schedule with every family. We also know that many parents have thoughtful questions, and those questions deserve real answers, not a rushed conversation or a dismissal.

We take time to discuss each vaccine: what it protects against, the evidence behind it, and any factors specific to your child's health history. Together, we'll create a plan your family feels confident about, whether that means following the standard schedule or adjusting the timing.

We do not require vaccination to be a member of our practice. Our goal is to keep every child connected to a pediatrician who knows them, because that relationship is what keeps children safest.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I still need health insurance?

Yes. Membership covers your child's care with our practice, but insurance is still important for labs, imaging, specialists, hospital care, and emergencies.

What happens if my child gets sick after hours?

We do our best to be available when your child needs us. Because our visits give us time to plan ahead, we build care plans with you, including what to do if symptoms change, so middle-of-the-night calls are rarely needed. If you can't reach us and your child needs urgent attention, please go to the nearest emergency room, or call 911 in an emergency.

What ages do you see?

We care for patients from birth through age 25.

Is there a minimum commitment?

Memberships have a 6-month minimum commitment. After that, you can cancel at any time with 30 days' written notice.

My child is in the Complex Care Membership. Can they join Foundational Care too?

Yes. Foundational Care is included for children on the Complex Care Plus plan. Families on the Core plan can add Foundational Care at the standard membership rate, so their child's everyday care and complex care are all in one place.

What if my child isn't fully vaccinated?

You're welcome here. We'll review your child's history together and talk through options at a pace that feels right for your family.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Yes. Membership fees are HSA and FSA eligible. We recommend checking with your plan administrator about your specific account.
